DR. WESTON RICHTER
Dr. Richter graduated from Georgia University in 1979. He is originally from Florida and moved to California in 1980. He is now going on 40+ years here at Sherman Oaks Veterinary Group! His area of expertise is in general surgery for cats and dogs, as well as orthopedics. Dr. Richter is the father of five children, many of whom have followed him into veterinary medicine. His interests include hiking, camping, sports and rock n' roll.
DR. ANDREA RICHTER
Dr. Andrea Richter graduated with her Bachelor’s in Public Health from George Washington University in 2010 and received her DVM and MPH from Colorado State University in 2015. She has a special interest in nutrition and infectious diseases, especially in the prevention of zoonotic diseases. The mother of two beautiful children, Dr. Richter enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking cookies, listening to country music, long-distance running, and of course, spending time with her beloved Golden Retriever, Hunter Richter.
DR. MATT LOCKHARTT
Dr. Lockhart, a California native, earned his DVM from St. George's University. He loves educating pet owners on how to best provide long, healthy lives for their animals. His interests include surgery, dentistry and nutrition. In his free time, Dr. Lockhart enjoys hiking, cooking and spending time at the beach. Caring and compassionate, he treats every animal as if it is his own.
DR. MATTHEW GOSS
Dr. Matthew Goss was born and raised in Southern California. He earned his Bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley and his DVM at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts. Dr. Goss went on to complete a small animal internship at VCA Animal Specialty Group in Glendale, and a small animal surgery internship at MedVet in Cincinnati. His professional interests lie in surgery and in maintaining bonds with his patients as they grow. When he’s not at the clinic, Dr. Goss enjoys spending time with his family and his dog Blue.
JAN EVANSON, PRACTICE MANAGER
The gal with the eternal smile on her face, Jan is a Sherman Oaks native and has managed SOVG for over 40 years! Welcoming each client and patient as a member of the family, she is the heart and soul of our clinic and keeps the pulse of the hospital beating. Jan shares her home with her husband, horses, dogs, and cats. Her favorite activities outside of the clinic include horseback riding, gardening, and cooking, but most of all, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
